All my favourite series.

You already know I’m not good at talking about my favorite reads. I get way too much into my head and I tend to not be able to summarise the love I feel for certain books: not enough for my

Marriage for one

Oh my, this is toooooooo long overdue! I hate writing reviews of books that I love, it’s weird, isn’t it? Writing a bad review is easy, complaining is easy, you have things pinpointed that you hated or made you cringe

From now on every Sunday I’ll give you guys a recap with mini reviews of my reads during the week! Just a little something to look forward to! Let’s go!

🍩 Adorable and surprising! I tried to steer away from the plot or any hint of what this book was about other than what this bromance book club was. And I am so glad I did! It had certain aspects that would’ve prevented me to dive into it with as much eagerness as I did and it surprised me so much till the end. It’s a 4✨ tho; at time it felt like the author was preaching or using certain dialogues to explain pc to the reader more than the characters or went the extra mile to be extremely feminist. Which is Tropey and fun but kicked me a bit out of the book and prevented my read to go as smoothly as I’d hoped.

👮🏻‍♀️👨‍💻I continue to make my way into this serie and I can’t contain my pleasure for it. I can’t seems to be able to have enough or to just be content. I dread the moment I’ll have to start waiting for JD’s next book and not have Roarke and eve at my fingers! My favourite character is and remains Moris and Mira, but I can’t help but love almost anybody. It’s so weird how even if one book is not as exciting mystery wise you are still trapped and held by the throat by characters and their connection. And I just love the surrogate family Eve doesn’t even realise she has pulled up.
In this last few books Eve has had to break a friend’s heart, uncover an unimaginable vendetta, find a non existing murder weapon and return from the holidays with a well timed trail of bodies all while celebrating her two year anniversary with Roarke, helping friends and generally forgetting any social cue immaginabile. How can we not love her? I honestly hope JD will tackle her past soon, atleast her mother’s part, just to give us a bit more of a glimpse into who she is. —————————————————

➢ Breathe in, breathe out and leave your old self behind. Close your eyes, turn around and open them again, maybe you just need some new prospective, a new point of view.
You can’t kill your past but you can place it in a cupboard if it slows your ability to create your future self.
-
🏰 so here’s to new adventures. A new feed, a new point of view, a new attitude, a new approach.
